Summer is fast approaching, and having sold my last car , i decided to buy this !

A honda del sol crx esi, been searching for a while for a decently low mileage one, but my god it is hard! I really liked this one because it ticked all the boxes. So i travelled to milton keynes to buy this baby at a bargain, might i add :P

Current mods: Hid's,K&N filter( FUCK YEH LOL), orange front strut(f**k knows what this guy was thinking), black em1 alloys with anodised blue bolts and cat back exhaust.OH! plus the private plate, bonus!

Future Plans: Stance, bigger brakes, mint body work-smooth and rust free, Sha-TiNG the engine bay up. But I'm sure more will come into play later on.

Ive just recently purchased some meister superlows with custom springs and i have XXr002 lined up. Just have to wait till march till i can get it all on.

5. Sweet Rewards
Rewards usually work better with older toddlers that understand the nature of a reward. Some effective rewards are stickers, small toys, and sweet treats, especially the normally forbidden ones. Sometimes the promise of being able to do a special activity after the bath can be quite effective, too. For instance, "After your bath, you can watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."
Initially, when you are introducing the concept of a reward, you might have to offer a treat as a "taste test" then promise another one after the bath. When you toddler gets a hang of the idea, you can reserve all treats for after the bath.
6. Giving Options
Sometimes the objection to taking a bath is not necessarily the activity itself but the feeling of being imposed upon. This is especially important to a toddler who is learning to express autonomy over self. By offering an option and letting your toddler make a choice, you can still achieve an amicable end result.
Here is an example of offering an option for taking a bath: "Do you want to take a bath with the yellow bubbles or the blue bubbles?"
Sometimes negative options can work more effectively than offering a reward. For instance, "Do you want to take a bath now and watch Mickey Mouse after, or do you want to play for another ten minutes and have lights out after your bath?" Most toddlers don't like the thought of having to go to sleep and will try to avoid it almost as much - if not more so - than taking a bath.
7. Cleaning Up After Getting Dirty
Some toddlers have a natural predisposition to dislike getting dirty, although that fact itself may not stop them from engaging in fun activities that require them to get dirty. Allowing them to engage in these activities prior to bath time can be extremely effective in getting them to hop straight into the bath right after. For instance, finger painting is a fun and dirty activity that most toddlers enjoy, and washing up afterward usually brings a cooperative toddler to the bath, especially one that doesn't like to stay dirty.
With toddlers who dislike getting dirty, sometimes merely taking them to the mirror and pointing out food stains on their mouths or t-shirts can work as well.

From my old 1.4 Sigma to an identicle, 1.9dt - decided i wanted something for ISLE OF WIGHT use and not a stupid 400bhp monster which is useless with one dual carriageway

So to begin, i got myself another Sigma, this time an XTDT, and i think when i drove it, it hadn't been touched in a LONG time... There were a fair few webs on it, pedals were VERY stiff but after giving it a drive around for a bit, everything come into place quite nicely.

The bodywork etc. is immaculate apart from the drivers side front quarter panel for which i have a replacement from the old pug, get that on soon!

Interior, erm.. well wood effect dash?? whats with that?? fugly as hell, got my old interior ready to put in, thinking i'll matte black it fist.
Electrics all round which all work fine....

My plans for this are to create an island road car, for 'dicking' cars in the corner, some nice low end boost, maxing out at around 80mph, and no im not endorsing speeding, but large turbos and POOWAAAH is not what this project is about :)

Just to update where i've got with this 'project' if you like to call it that

I've purchased:

- Coilovers
- Bosch pump
- T2 turbo
- rear beam mounts
- MBC
- boost gauge

So today i managed to change my front quarter panels over

Also managed to pipe in my boost gauge, managed to figure out which wires go where but never got round to wiring it - gauge reads a steady 13psi - not too bad, i was expecting a leak somewhere but helps a lot having that in!

Right then guys, here are the convoy/meeting times for The Fast Show for both the Saturday and the Sunday.

The date is Saturday 11th August 2012 and the time 8pm!

This will be our 4th year running so lets make it a good one!

It does'nt matter what you drive, anyone is welcome to come along!!

UK Street Cars - Summer Weekender!

Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th July 2012.

Why not join us for our annual summer weekender? Anybody welcome!

We will be having our summer weekender at Billing Aquadrome this year as its a nice central location for everyone to get to. They have loads going on down there including go karting, fun fair, bars, restaurants and more!

Members are more then welcome to bring along their children for the weekend too!

There will be a trophy for the car of the weekend.

We will also be doing a photoshoot over the weekend as there are some great spots down there so make sure your motors are nice and clean!

Fresh Start

We thought it was time for a fresh start, So we have a new site and simplified things.

We would like to know your thoughts on the site and if we have missed any thing out, For example categories and features.

Unfortunately we are also using a new database so all existing users and posts will no exist on this site! However its as quick as a one button click to sign up with the express features like ''FaceBook Login'' & ''Twitter Login''.

The Old site will remain online unmaintained at http://www.isleofwightcruisers.co.uk/Old/
